Daiwa – 22 Whisker – 45 Qda

Whether you are casting extreme distances or boating a rig out even further the Whisker 45 SCW QD OT comes into its own.  

The first Daiwa reel to feature the QDM drag system. You can change the drag from open to closed via 1 full turn while the usual QD drag performance only needs 1/2 turn.

The 45mm spool stroke in combination with the Slow Cross Wrap (SCW) line lay enables extreme casting distances with minimal friction.

The Digigear II offers a fully convincing ultra-smooth running and an optimal power transmission – ideally suited for retrieving the rig over great distances.

The Whisker comes supplied with two spare spools. One spool has a line capacity of 530m / 0.35mm mono and the other a whopping 700m – 0.35mm mono line which is ideal when fishing large waters across Europe.
